Saw this bumper sticker:

INSURED BY THE MAFIA. IF YOU HIT ME, WE HIT YOU BACK.

bit by a Beatle

YESTERDAY was so cloudy. There's this gut feeling that IT WONT BE LONG that its going to RAIN. As early 6am thick clouds mob over our neighborhood ready to pour. Its a fact that the clouds showed its greatest form while i was commuting towards the office, Im a NOWHERE MAN helpless should it RAIN. Clouds keep on chanting GET BACK(ROOFTOP). I have second thoughts to whether i should bring along my heavy jacket. Its so heavy and bulky that i could get another workout by just bringing this. But alas, HERE COMES THE SUN. Although not in full crowning glory but still SOMETHING that could sustain STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER.

By night time I transferred 31 Beatles music videos to my pc. For ALL MY LOVING i have 31 classic videos of the most successful band the music industry has ever known. Upon playing the first video my father took over the PC,. Meanwhile i just grabbed the daily. My dad still in aghast over the music he lived by during his more youthful "DAY TRIPPER" times.

It's quite odd that while reading i chance upon an article about John Lennon. I was not aware that it is the 24th death anniversary(December 8) of John Lennon. He was shot, bringin down an icon. The first beatle to pass away ( George Harrison died from cancer on 2001). A picture showed him and wife Yoko Ono clasping each others hands. IMAGINE if Lennon could live a little longer there is a possibility of a Beatles reunion and work their way on top of the charts one more time. SOMETHING fans would anticipate.

Some of the Beatles songs are scattered here in this blog entry..

Better to be on top, SOMETHING fans would always remember. If the Beatles should disband and die one by one forfeiting the possibility of a reunion then LET IT BE..

Wishful Thinker

Since the yuletide season is here. These are top things that come to my mind.
Some things here I could not buy, some things are not that expensive but always slip off my mind. But the best thing here is intangible and even money could not buy. Except for my last wish maybe it's better that these would remain on the wish list.
1)basketball- this will be a part of my cardiovascular exercise and a great way to practice my hoop skills (ha, if there's any).
2)PDA- battery life that would last for at least 2 days in between charging, I think this is the least that i need here. cool but still impractical.
3)additional weights- 50lbs total plate weight for my adjustable dumbell. Lets pump more iron. Ummphh..
4)a new chassis for my N6250- the current one has worn out its rubber protector at bottom. Semicon sells this at a tough price. For the its price others would prefer to buy another unit but i would stick with this one for its durability. Extra fact: Other units could not withstand the abuse my mobile has undergone. N6250 is the best and most practical mobile I know and can last for a generation( if the mobile transmission technology would still allow it)
5)Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey protein- saw this in various health shops. best known
source of quality protein.
6)my lola's pancit molo(the best in town) and batchoy- like I've said IT's the BEST.
7)any action figure - preferably scary ones. something i could place at my room
8)Mach3 razor from Gillette- this may look like a silly wish but its essential
9)Chris Webber, Dwayne Wade rookie or insert card- I know basketball cards are a thing of the past here in the Philippines but hey, I love em

last but certainly not the least,..

10) sana sagutin ako ng nililigawan ko. :)

..and perhaps I don't have to sit on Santa's lap but she could sit on mine

Gizmodon

recently i bought the March issue of T3 magazine.... What made me buy such mag
are: 1)cover girls- featuring 2 channel [V] vjs Cindy Burbridge & Sarah Tan who were both babes,, 2) content- shows head 2 head comparisons of top 2 vendors per gadget, and d usual reviews 3)price tag of 40 pesos.

Im pretty much concerned of the comparisons between Palm and Pocket Pc's, although its somewhat a short article it goes in conjuction with the individual reviews of various handheld devices. Im into PDA's these days although i dont own one. Its fun to look into certain specs of each device. At the same time wondering when i could acquire one (It seems impractical for me as of the moment and I cant afford the handheld I want, hehe). Every spec will solicit an ohh.. or an ahhh. I always prefer a road warrior gadget, which means each function will be usefull at most situations and something you could rely on at desperate situations and it has to be durable. It has to withstand extremities. I love it when it can be dropped anywhere without losing its functionalty or you can throw it at the bully that snatches your meal back in grade school, well not that I'm clumsy but I always want it to live more than its desired use. In additon, I also have an eye for rugged stuffs.

One feature that is important is battery life, especially for "mobiles"., Battery life is VERY IMPORTANT!! The gadget's feature is only as good as its battery life could allow it. So lets say you have to activate Wi-Fi for data transfer but the gadget will shut itself off when the file is 99% completed (dont you hate it when that happens) just because battery has drained out. And to think that you already spent significant amount of time for file transfer.

It is a always a big challenge for gadget manufacturers to add more features to the thing without consuming large amounts of power while using the "feature". Its all about power efficiency. Thats why Im not impressed at the latest models that boasts of great features but lasts for a minute amount of time. Can they have a separate model that has the latest battery technology but has the basic features,
like a meal course without dessert. Well at least I'm full.
